mechanical moving components (engine, gear box, etc.), service
support requirements is much lesser than the conventional petrol
vehicle.

BATTERY
CHARGING
Battery is like a fuel tank for the Techno bikes
and requires refilling by the means of charging. Before riding
Techno bikes time it is essential to charge the batteries for
6-8 hours using the supplied charger. To charge, please remove
the protective cover from the charging socket. Then plug in the
charger into the charging socket, before plugging the charger
into a wall power socket. There is an indicator light provided
on the charger body which will turn Red while charging. This
will become Green when the charging is complete. In case the
battery charging light is not indicating, please check the fuse
provided on the battery pack. The charger has been provided with
a safety feature to avoid overcharging of batteries and thereby
enhance the battery life. Generally recharging time will be
around 6 to 8 hours. The Techno bikes have been powered by four
12V, 12Ah or 12V, 20Ah batteries wired in series to provide 48

The key points to improve
the Battery Life
1.It is
recommended to charge the Techno bikes as and when you get an
opportunity to charge & avoid complete discharge in use.
2.You should charge the Techno bikes if it has not been used for
3-4 weeks or more.
3.Always charge the battery in dry and ventilated place to clear
the gases emitted from the batteries.
4.Battery should not be stored in discharged condition for any
length of time.
5.Always use Indus supplied / approved charger.

1.Do not expose the
battery to heat, fire or water.
2.Do not keep the battery
in discharged condition for any length of time.
3.Do not try to dismantle
the charger or battery pack.
4.Do not expose the
battery to extremely high or low temperatures.
5.Keep the battery pack
out of children’s reach.
6.Ensure that the Power
Switch is OFF when the Techno bikes is being charged.
7.Stop charging, if any
burning smell or overheating is observed.
